Bolton Abbey

We had a lovely sunny day out at Bolton Abbey on Bank Holiday Monday. We didn't brave the river but had a walk along it instead. Lucy loves the sunshine and spent most of the day waving at anyone that came remotely near us which included cows!!

Update

Just a quick update... Lucy is doing really well. She seems to have settled into life with me at work. I think I find it harder than she does! After months of trying, she will finally now drink milk from a source other than me - feeld like a minor miracle! She has mastered the art of backwards crawling (didn't realise it was possible??)but is less keen to do it the 'normal' way ie on her tummy. Lucy has really found her voice in recent weeks and chatters away in her own special language - I'm sure 'Mummy' is just about to pop out!!

After months of being panicked by Health Visitors about Lucy's very slow weight gain, we had her long awaited hospital appointment where the verdict was that she is just a small baby and will probably be a small child. Panic over!!

Still no teeth despite me saying she's been teething for the last 3 months...watch this space!

Lynne and Adam's wedding

We had a lovely day at Lynne and Adam's wedding recently. Lucy was a star and enjoyed having lots of attention and cuddles.

Easter Holiday

After 1 week back at work, I had a much needed rest in Lyminge while doting grandparents looked after Lucy (and me!)We then celebrated Easter back in Leeds with lots of sunshine and gardening! In lieu of an egg, which I knew we'd eat, we bought Lucy a cherry blossom tree which she'll be able to watch grow over the years - that is providing we don't kill it!

Granda

Apologies for the lack of recent posts - my maternity leave is now over so time is rather limited!!

Here are a few photos of Lucy with her Granda over the lasr few months
